This is a list of wildlife sightings and observations where the identification has not been confirmed due to viewing limitations or rarity.

A Note About The Entries Found On This Page
The purpose for this page is to attempt to get a consensus from others, who may have had the opportunity to make a more accurate observation of the species in question, to help corroborate the species identification.
Candidates for the Obscured Identification Log are:
- A very rare species, or a species not normally found in the area.
- A species that was partially identified due to an obstructed view, poor viewing angle or was viewed at a glance.
- A species that is very difficult to distinguish from a similar species.
- A species that can have a lot of variation in appearance, such as size, patterns or color.
- Unknown species.
